WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THE TEXT TO PARTY CREW???
Anyone who know us, knows that we are always traveling. We do random trips to some of our favorite cities, New York, L.A & Vegas.
Well, on Saturday night one of my partner, just decided we should go to L.A on Sunday for a party at Opera Nightclub in Hollywood. L.A being my favorite city to visit I couldn't turn it down..... who would??
So on Sunday 10/12/08 at 5pm, Darren, L and myself jump on a 5'clock Direct flight to L.A. We got there 7:38pm Pacific time (10:38pm Eastern). We landed and the weather was BEAUTIFUL!!!, as always. We rented a 2008 Cadillac Cts and headed over to one of our peoples crib to hangout for a bit, and eat some food before we change and head to the club.
We hit up our L.A connects to let them know we were in town and we were coming through to show some love. We headed out to the club, got to the door and walk right in with no trouble. The Ladies were extra beautiful, the DJ was playing the right songs (songs DJ's in Miami don't play), every thing was just perfect.

So we were all vibing, checking out the scenery, if you know what i mean and just keeping a low profile. Someone then bump into me, i looked around and guest who it was, "COLE" from the Martin comedy. That dude was short as hell and much skinnier. After a few drinks, D came by and was like yo, Chris Brown and Rihanna just walked in. They wasted no time, within a few minutes, Rihanna was giving Chris the Caribbean wine/dance of his life. Ohhh yeah, Rihanna is banging even more in person. But overall the nite turned out very good. The only part I hate is that the clubs close at 2pm (early as F%$*).
After the club we went to our favorite after clubbing eating spot "Berries", they have the best lobster pizza in the country. We chill there for a few, crack some jokes and planned our day for Monday.
On Monday, we got up dumb early, we went to get breakfast, then to headed up to the hills to go check out the "Houdini Mansion". We are planning on doing a Halloween party there. We took some picture, check the spot out and got all the fine details. After the mansion we went back over to "Berries" to do our second meeting. I use berries as my office when we out in L.A....lol. We just sit there, eat, drink and invite everyone to meet us there, business, personally, whatever. It is just a real nice central spot right near the Beverly Center Shopping Mall. I met up with Adeja, from the Bella Capos, to give us some insight about the L.A nightlife. After about a hour or so, we wrap up the conversation because it was time for us to catch our flight and head back to Miami.......
But we will be back in L.A real soon.

BACK IN PARTY MODE.........
After about 2 months of not hitting the party scene with my party squad, because I spent countless days and nights working on Text To party new projects. Well, all of that change last night when me and the boys went to support this amazing breast cancer charity event (See post below), put on by one of our new business partnerships.....
Let me break down the night for you:
We got to the venue around 10:30pm, As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, who is also an amazing guy. He instantly had his waitress set us up with a table and some appetizers. The music was just at the right level, the light was just right, and vibe was good. After about 30 minutes, the owner introduce us to NICK LAW, the ACDG clothing designer (ACDGTHREADS.COM). We chop it up for a few and realize we both had somethings in common (No Homo... :) ), we both have the same P.R company, and we both know the same people (DJ Irie, Seth Combs, etc)..."Small World"....
Anyways, He was rocking one of his ACDG shirts , that jimmy fell in love with, and I think if it was up to jimmy, he would have bought the shirt right there. So after chopping it up, I came up with a brilliant idea to have him, alongside my favorite sneaker company (which I'm working very hard on getting) in a fashion show for our party premier, October 25th.
After a a hour or two....Nick introduce me to one of his good friends Karlee from Vicious magazine. Once she heard about Text To Party, it was an instant hit and she wants to write an article about us for the magazine.....nice!!
So we left this spot, we head down to Prive to meet up with Abiy and the other boys.... When we got to Prive, the 'DOORMAN' was being a dick and didn't want to let Karlee in bc she didn't have her I.D....long story short, she headed over to the Fifth, where her magazine was having a party...and the rest of us went up in Prive to show some love and also went in bc they are also in our Text To Party network (Empire events and The Opium Group).....{Plug Real Quick: So don't forget to use Text To Party to get up in the hottest clubs in Miami, but please remember to bring your ID/DL}
Back to the story, So Abiy and Vick, had their table, popping bottles, acting a fool, taking shots, dancing on the couch, people everywhere...yeah it was that crazy. We stayed there for about a hour or so, then left and headed over to The Fifth........ Once again..we walked right in and went right upstairs, where Karlee and the Vicious magazine crew, had their table...but by then, I was tipsy as hell and anyone that knows me, knows that it doesn't take much to get me F$%* UP..... So we stay there til about 4clock.....
So overall it was a exciting, & productive night......

EVERY NOW AND THEN I WILL PERSONALLY RECOMMEND A SPECIAL EVENT, THAT IS A MUST ATTEND EVENT/PARTY.
This month, October, is breast cancer awareness month, with many events taking place, from awareness days to sporting galas. Big or small, the events will raise awareness of what only 20 years ago was spoken about only in hushed tones, when many women were too ashamed or embarassed or just plain unaware of how important it was to get any signs of possible breast cancer checked out sooner rather than later.........
With that said....Please come support this event TONIGHT SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4th.
